Adopt a Dog in Sri Lanka

Adopt a Dog is a Sri Lanka based charity whose focus is to champion the
Sri Lankan Street Dog.
The Sri Lankan street dog suffers many ill faiths and still holds little value for many in the general public. Our mission is to change attitudes and to help alleviate suffering where we can.

We are a charity wholly run via donations and all our members including our trustees are volunteers.

We operate a network of volunteering opportunities of varying degrees of
engagement across Sri Lanka.

The number to their foster is also on that page and if you would like to arrange an adoption please contact the foster directly to arrange. For information about how to care for your dog please take a look at our How to Care for your Dog. Giving a dog a forever home is one of the kindest things you can do but it is also a responsibility. Please only adopt if you are able to and ready to care for this puppy or dog it’s whole life and with love and care.
